Changing the Sampling State

A user with the appropriate rights can change the sampling state for a part/rev/receiving loc/supplier site combination, from the Supplier record.

1. From the Supplier record, click the Inspection State tab.
2. Click the drop down button next to the part and select Change State.
   Result: The Change State window is displayed.
3. Click the drop down arrow in the Change State field and select the state to switch to.
4. Enter a rationale for changing the state.
5. Click the Sign-off button.
   Result: The Sign-off window is displayed.
6. Enter your user ID and password and then click the Sign-off button.
   Result: The sampling state has been changed and the Result window is displayed. The inspection sampling state history can be viewed from the Supplier Detail record.
